Week 3 – Big Moves and Birthdays

Big MOVE week….we have a flat…and our shipping arrived. The excitement of opening 19 boxes is like Christmas, but an amazing Christmas when you receive 100s of presents ALL of which you know you will love. It has taken days and days to unpack, and we’re still not there. However…to be reunited with your belongings after 3 months and have a permanent home again is just incredible. As great as the past 3 months have been, we have been living out of suitcases and have been constantly on the move. To have our little home and cook a home cooked meal is bliss.

We’re also enjoying the novelty of the new facilities in our flat…spot of tennis anyone? Or a swim (jonney’s been every day). It’s not often you can say you are going to pop down to do a swimset in your pool.

Kat’s birthday also happened this week (although she is yet to face reality with her age) which involved eating and drinking and eating and drinking and eating and drinking…

It’s been an exhausting week…but a fun week! Sore muscles but from bed lifting, sofa moving, box opening and bike making. (we have our four babies back….by babies we mean bikes). But everything survived

Onto next week where the whole of Melbourne has closed down for Cup Week – so its horse racing and glad rags time. Jonney had the pleasure of working in the chairman’s suite at the weekend and served Natalie Imbruglia at work, which was a personal highlight (“possibly the most beautiful woman I have ever seen”)
